Ideal for all electrical applications, the user can choose between a Serve Shield or Foil Shield. The Shielded cords offer reliable and multi-purpose electrical solutions for any industry, including construction, medical, food service, communication, lighting, and automotive.
The Serve Shield is soft tinned copper, spiral wrap, 36 AWG, which offers 90% coverage. The Foil Shield is a heat-laminated aluminum foil polyester tape with 24 AWG drain wire, which offers 100% coverage. Customized to suit specific environments, the shielded cords offer protection against interference between the enclosed wires and their external surroundings.
The cords are available in both PVC and TPE and are featured in 12”, 24”, 36”, and 48”, which extend on a 1:5 ratio. Customized lengths and ratios are also available, up to a 12-foot retracted length extending 60 feet, to meet the user’s specific needs. The cords meet UL/CSA (Canadian Standards Association) specifications.
